Tanzania is on the east coast of Africa. It is a very beautiful and diverse country with many different ethnic groups and friendly people. It is known as one of the poorest countries in the world. There are 2.5 million orphans in Tanzania who lost their parents by HIV. Street kids International e.V is a small children's charity, registered as a non-profit charitable association based in Frankfurt.
In Tanzania, about an hour and half outside of the seat of government Dar es Salaam, we have four orphanages, Tumaini Montessori Friends Kindergarten as well as education projects and schools for the orphans.

Street kids International e.V. has set the task of helping the poorest of the poor. We are giving orphans a charmed home and the chance of a better future. With the accommodation of children in one of our orphanages, a safe home is presented to them to ensure security, comfortability and unity with their peers. We take our orphans by the hand and lead them through all the important stages of life, step by step.
